There is no licensing for home inspectors in California, so it may seem difficult to choose a home inspection company.  We are certified members of the American Society of Home Inspectors (ASHI) and a member of the National Association of Home Inspectors (NAHI).  We also carry a $1,000,000 Error & Omissions insurance policy, though we have never had to use it.  Finally, we carry tools such as moisture meters, infrared laser thermometers, water pressure gauges, circuit testers, digital cameras, laptops and color laser printers to provide you with a thorough home inspection.  After the physical inspection (about 1 ½ - 2 ½ hours for a typical sized home), we can then compile the home inspection report and print it out, including color pictures, ON-SITE, so there’s no waiting.  We can also email the home inspection report that evening, at no extra cost.  These greatly differentiate us from our competition.

Joseph Lang has owned the local Pillar To Post® home inspection franchise since 2004 and has performed over 1,500 home inspections.  In 2008, Joseph earned two Pillar To Post Pinnacle Awards for the Highest Percentage of Inspections Growth and the Highest Percentage of Sales Growth in all of the United States and Canada.  In 2010, his wife, Sylvie, joined the team as our home inspection marketing specialist, so it’s now truly a family owned and operated franchise.
We know that we offer the best deal for the home inspection services we provide. Does that mean we are the cheapest? No, it means we provide the best service and home inspection for the price. We have the experience, knowledge and commitment to customer service to provide the best home inspection possible. We don’t recommend you find the cheapest doctor or dentist to trust your health to, and we also don’t recommend finding the cheapest home inspector to trust your most valuable investment to.
